Scripture Reading

Our summer sermon series
is based on a selection of verses
from Galatians 5 & 6…

The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command:
“Love your neighbour as yourself.”

So I say, walk by the Spirit,
and you will not carry out the selfish desires of your old nature.
Make no mistake, we reap what we sow.
Those who plant only for their own benefit
will harvest devastation from their selfishness,
but those that sow to the Spirit, from the Spirit shall reap eternal life.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

So let us not become weary in doing good,
for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Since we live in the Spirit, let us walk in the Spirit.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people,
especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
