How do we connect with God and our neighbor?
We offer many ways to build relationships, live out our faith in practical ways, and serve others.
Read on to see where you can use your gifts in and outside the walls of this spiritual home.
Music is an important part of our life together!
From the vocal and bell choirs to instrumentalists and the bell tower Doane chimers, there are many opportunities for us to contribute in worship!
Sunday School: From September to June, we offer the following structure in Sunday School for children 4 years old through eighth grade.
1st Sunday: Intergenerational family worship and communion
2nd/3rd Sundays: Sunday School offered with teen and adult leadership
4th/5th Sundays: Intergenerational family worship, with opportunities available for children to participate
Nursery: a nursery space is available for all parents if their child becomes uncomfortable during the service.
For over 30 years, our book club has been meeting, come rain, shine and even COVID. Each month, you are invited to meet for discussion and connection with fellow readers on a chosen book. The book club meets in the Cove View room on the second Monday of the month at 1:30pm. For more information, please contact Celia Francis, 860-767-0504 or email the church office.

Since 2003, knitters have been offering comfort to those in our congregation and community by knitting prayer shawls and prayer squares.
Whether it’s a full-size shawl to wrap you in a ‘God hug’, or it’s a pocket prayer cloth to place in your pocket, your purse, or under your pillow, these soft and warm creations remind us that our church home is holding us in prayer and offering God’s comfort.
