| Minutes of the last meeting (13 Nov 2007) were reviewed and accepted. Wendy will email minutes to committee members as well as send them to ecminutes@yahoo.com for posting. Jane Haeni will be the council representative this month; Wendy Arnold will attend on January 9th. The Sunday School calendar was reviewed. Next Sunday (16 Dec 2007) the children will present a Christmas musical during worship. On Sunday December 23, the children will make greens arrangements in Sunday School. Jane H. will get cups, oasis, ribbon, decorations etc., Wendy A. will get fresh greens. Sunday December 30 will be a combined Sunday School class (1 or 2 classes), probably will show a video. Rotation 3 will start on January 6, 2008. We have 3 volunteer teachers (or teams), but need one more person or team. The curriculum for “Calling the Disciples” is on backorder – we may substitute “3 Women of Faith” for the next rotation. We will probably use the Lord’s Supper rotation for Lent, and an Easter rotation for after that. Publicity: Jane has posted pictures on the bulletin board. Patti and/or Kelli will try to get some good pictures that can be emailed to local papers to advertise our program in the community. Possibly pictures of our kids preparing greens arrangements. Bibles for kids: Jane will try to review a possible Bible for grades 2-3. New Business: A meeting will be held before Christmas for those teaching in the next rotation. Youth Sunday – possibly May 18th Confirmation – May 11. Next Christian Education Committee meeting will be January 2, 2008. Meeting was adjourned at 7:50pm.
