Present : Chairman Mellicent Hawke, Rev. Bill West, Rev. Ken Peterson, Don Male , Judy Kells, Pat Reed, Wini Olson
Minutes :
I. Opening and Prayer

The meeting was opened at 4:30 PM in the Conference Room with Mellicent

leading us in prayer.

II. Minutes

The November minutes were approved as circulated.

III. New:

A. Pictures for the directory are tentatively planned for March 24 through April 11. Mellicent will call for more information.

B. The by-law suggestions for definition of “member” invoked a great deal of discussion based on suggestions submitted by Dudley Bickford.

IV. Ongoing.

A. Lighting

Mellicent reported that the fund raising for the lighting brought in $5,715 When all the bills are in for lighting and the signs we expect to break even.

A letter from Herb Clark was read stating the lighting looked great from the water.

B. Signs

Bill Hawke has installed the off premises sign on West Ave. Since approval was given for the variance the posts have been dug for the sign in front of the church and Eagle Signs hopes to have it finished by Christmas.

C. Eagle Festival

It is in the Eagle Festival program that chili will be served here on February 16 and 17. It is up to us to create a program. Ken was going to check on an artist in Ohio and Don with a photographer friend in Chester.

D. Publicity

The ad has been placed in the Valley Regional year book.

Pat gave the prices for the Ivoryton Playhouse program. It was agreed to take ˝ page at $400. per season.

An ad for the Christmas services will be placed in the Valley Courier similar to the one for Thanksgiving services.

Our listing for the Community Calendar on Cable has been submitted.

The next meeting will be at 4:30 on January 3, 2007.
