| 1. Discussing the appeals letter, we decided to include: a. Use the suggested changes from Matt Winkler b. Change the Celebration Luncheon to Celebration Brunch c. We decided to include the 6% chart with the letter instead of the 3% one. (The same will be put on the back of the pledge cards.) 2. The pledge card will be used as is – but with the 6% charts 3. Dud will get the cards and letters printed up in time for the mailing. 4. We have gotten good response form the “Witness Program” and will need three more volunteers to complete the series 5. The Kick-Off Sunday will be worked out with Ken & Mitzi, but Dud will take a moment to explain the theme and schedule. 6. The same goes for November 11th, but Dud will be the witness that day – kicking off the pledging with a pledge of increasing his pledge by 50%. 7. Emily and Paula have the “brunch” well in hand a. Will have sign-up sheets in the Narthex next Sunday, one for attending and one for baking a quiche, making a salad, or bringing cookies. b. Emily will buy all the provisions. We will use paper plates and cups and silverware. c. Volunteers will be needed for heating the quiches during the service d. Dud will make sure the Church School knows that the kitchen is off limits that Sunday e. We will meet at 3:00 PM on Saturday, 11/10 to set up the hall.
