Classroom Teachers, 2006 - 2007: Grades 1/2 - Jennifer Rosenberg, Kathi LePore, Kari Petrovic. Grades 3/4 - Dana Callahan, Alison Stewart, Emily Brown, Melanie Herman. Robin Arnold also may be helping on this level. Staffing has not been fully completed for other grades. Sunday School Superintendent: Jane Haeni has volunteered to assume this position, to help facilitate and coordinate the Christian Education program. Liaisons: Nursery - Wendy Foster, PreK/K - Alison Karam, 1/2 - Jennifer Rosenberg, 3/4 - Melanie Herman, 5/6 - Dot Nord, 7/8 - Don Male, Youth Group - Wendy Arnold. Curriculum: "Seasons of the Spirit" has been chosen as the curriculum for the coming school year. Pastor Ken will be giving quarterly lessons on the curriculum to the teachers, with the goal of making them comfortable with the material they will be presenting in class. The first training session will be scheduled for sometime during the week of August 13. Opening Day of Church School: "Kick-Off Sunday" is planned for September 10. Bibles will be presented to 4th graders and teachers will be introduced. A church picnic is planned for that day, from 3 - 5. Wendy Arnold will check on using Pettipaug Yacht Club as the location and she will also get hot dogs, rolls, and paper goods. Don will purchase chips and condiments. Youth Group will be asked to provide activities. NEXT MEETING: Tuesday, August 15, at 7:00 p.m. Meetings for the church school year will be held on the first Tuesday of the month, at 7:00.
