| Al Berquist opened the meeting with a prayer. Mugsie West volunteered to take the minutes. Minutes of the Frbruary 1,2007 meeting were approved. Ted Bliss thanked Marion Marston for organizing a most successful Ash Wednesday dinner. Marion Marston--the Trustee member of the nominating committee--reported that Glenn Herman has accepted and Peter Tibbetts is considering serving on the Board of Trustees. Stewardship---$210,643 has been pledged to date. Church Council minutes can be found on the website. Chairman Bliss reported that Shari Wilcox will be the interim Youth choir and Joyful Noise director and Mary Lewis will be the Cherub director. Pastor's Report---Insurance policies are in good order. An energy audit on the Church and Parsonage will be completed shortly. Clean-up day is scheduled for March 25 One Great Hour of Sharing will be March 18. Ken is attending Christian Education training and has recruited six young families to plan and evaluate the education program for the children. Old Business---The appraisal of the painting will be mailed shortly. A lengthy discussion followed regarding the Endowment Fund and the financial affairs of the Church. Ted repeated his remarks made at the fiscal meeting, that consideration be given to merging with other churches and building a new Church with adequate parking. New Business---Trustees bylaws revisions will be due by the end of March. Contact Ted Bliss with your suggestions.
