3. Christmas Gift Tree—Glen Berman picked up the gifts on Dec.18th. He was overwhelmed with the church’s generosity. We filled all the requests except for movie passes. Thanks to all for you help and donations. Delcie received a call from Pearl, our other designated social worker very late. We were not able to help her but encouraged her to make requests at any time during the year so that we can assist her clients. 4. We have been asked to study the church by-laws concerning the Outreach Committee. Copies were distributed and members will read them and be ready for discussion at the next meeting. 5. YSOP trip date is set for May 4th & 5th. Mark will take information to the Youth Group. Delcie will have more complete information for the next meeting. 6. “ Healthy Communities/ Healthy Youth” Initiative-Tri-Town Youth Services in Deep River which services Essex, Deep River & Chester. They have an Asset Building Committee in place that is meeting regularly. They are educating different groups in the area about the initiative and would welcome our church’s involvement in any way. Jean has materials which she picked up at an info table at Liberty Bank in Deep River. Next Meeting is Feb. 7th. Respectfully submitted, Delcie McGrath |
