| Youth Sunday,May 14: Youth will do complete service. Pre-K/K class will be held, but other classes will not be in session, so that children can be present for this service. May 21: Regular classes will be held, instead of Family Sunday, originally scheduled for this date. There will be baptisms of one infant and some school-age children. May 28: Combined classes will be held with one or two leaders. June 4: Confirmation Sunday - Pre-K through grade 2 will have class and grade 3-8 will remain in church. June 18: "Church School Wrap-up", Teacher Appreciation Day, participation of classes in service. Children will be given "inspirational bracelets" and teachers will be honored, possibly by the planting of perennials or bulbs. Summer Teachers: Sign-up sheet will be posted by May 7. Teachers ‘06-07: Jean Davies, Dana Callahan, Alison Stewart, Emily Brown, Melanie Herman, Jennifer Rosenberg, and Sarah Tibbetts have agreed to teach again next year. Curriculum meeting: On Monday, June 5, at 7:00 p.m., Wendy Foster, Sarah, Jennifer, Ken, and any teachers who are interested, will review possible curriculum choices for next year. Wendy will be in touch with CT Conference personnel for suggestions. Annual Meeting, May 24: Wendy will email CE Report to committee members for additions or corrections, in advance of the meeting. Silver Lake Camperships: Abby Tibbetts, Sierra Harger, Leah Harger, and Emily Foster will each be awarded $125 toward the cost of attending Silver Lake Camp this summer. They will be asked to write thank-you letters about their camp experiences, which will be published in Passages. Youth Group, ‘06-’07: Kristin Coombs, Marc Pierce, Barbara Magregor, Alan Macgregor, and Pastor Ken will share leadership of the Youth Group next year. Respectfully submitted, |
