| ISSUES DISCUSSED 1. Reviewed September 6, 2006 minutes; change to minutes: remove item regarding Parsonage stove hood; Minutes then voted as amended to be accepted. 2. In future minutes to be emailed to Council, website. 3. Review of 9/9/06 Hillside work party: ˝ of Rhododendrons and Azaleas have been transplanted and weedy material was removed. 4. Another hillside work party to be scheduled. Additional tasks: a. ALP to confirm remaining plant locations. b. Backhoe to return c. Brush to be removed d. Kousa dogwood and viburnum on south side of church to be removed, flush cut. e. Remainder of guardrail to be ordered for a total of 320’. 5. Discussed the parking lot spaces generated by plant removals on south side: crushed stone is favored in this area over asphalt. 6. Parsonage: a. columns ready to be primed; back deck can be left natural. b. November: ˝ bath to be renovated by Herb Clark. c. Radiators in upstairs bathroom to be repaired by Herb’s plumber? 7. Snow removal contract: Committee approves Giroux; bob to check on contract price. 8. Budget: add $2500 for tree pruning; Wilcox is recommended 9. Winter projects: paint Deacon’s benches, clean hood in kitchen. 10. Lighting project: to begin October 5; Ken requested that it begins not in the Sanctuary. 11. Ken and Rick will follow up on alternative energy sources. 12. 2007 H & G Budget: $28,298 + $2,500 (tree pruning) = $30,798 13. Stage: a. Has been cleaned; tables to be removed as well. b. Stage curtain: alternatives: replace with new curtain or soft wall partitions in order to hide the storage items. 14. Rug cleaning to be scheduled in early spring. 15.
