| THANKSGIVING PROJECT - Wendy will ask Don Male to create a "tree" to which the Church School children will attach paper leaves, on which they have written about things for which they are thankful. Adults will be invited to participate in adding to the tree. ADVENT READERS - Alison Karam will schedule the Advent readers for 12/3, 12/10, 12/17, 12/24. We need to determine how many of the 12/24 services will need readers. CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE - Jen will be our liaison with Pastor Ken and Meg Gister. CLASS RESTRUCTURING - Because of low attendance in grades 7/8, and the resignation of Kari Petrovic from the 5/6 teaching staff, these grades will be combined into one class. We still need another PreK/K teacher. CRADLE ROLL - Jen will mail out wooden hearts and letters of welcome to Cradle Roll members. Books with a Christian Education theme are given to the children on the first and second anniversaries of their baptisms. COMBINED CLASSES - January 14 (Martin Luther King weekend) is the only day scheduled, so far, for this. Wendy Arnold is in charge of coordinating. CE BULLETIN BOARD - Different classes will be asked to feature children’s work for each month: Nov., 1/2; Dec - 3/4; Jan - 5/8. BUDGET - Committees are asked to estimate what will be left in this year’s budget. PUMPKIN SUNDAY - 19 pumpkins were carved and distributed. CURRICULUM - Wendy presented possible Christmas craft ideas for church school classes. NEW MEMBER - Wendy will contact Nominating Committee regarding replacement for Don Male.
